The main purpose of Background Checks in the recruitment process is to get the best employee. Instead of checking their academic records, it is also important to check their background information. No one wants to hire a wrong person or a criminal. If you are running a company, you should know that all of your employees have a good background. Through the help of human resources department, you can do some checks such as employment references, identity verification, address verification, credit records, and also criminal history or criminal records. Usually it is quite risky hiring an employee who was a criminal. Therefore, you need to do several things when you just know that your employee has a bad crime record after he is accepted to work at your company.

You should do at least two things. The first one is keeping an eye to the employee. For example, after doing criminal background checks for employment, you will know the details of his criminal history. You will know what kinds of crimes he has done. A person can change in a short time. You should have a positive thinking. There is a great chance for your employee who was a criminal to be a much better person. You can see it from the good deeds he has done and the work performance at your company. In addition, you can also see his interaction and relationship with other employees. The second one is making a personal approach. When you know that your employee has a good intention to be a good person, you can be a friend for him. Then, you can give him some responsibilities and you put trust on him. It may be too risky, but when a person is given a trust, he can keep the trust and be a more responsible person.
